It's increasingly difficult to read this biography and not hear Jack Sparrow's drawl super-imposed over Depp's quotes and explanations of ne'er-do-well escapades.

Instant love, if not lust. As a hardcore fan, I'm likely quite biased. That's not to say I don't have issues.

I dove into the whole thing with a sickening apprehension. Sequels, more often than not, have a cloying aftertaste. While not the case with DMC, there were some moments I found over-dramatized, and a few characters that felt border-line ( Read more... )

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean last night, and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Only Johnny Depp is eccentric enough to pull off that part, and pulled it off wonderfully, he did.
